Kristin Tattar to Miss USWDGC
The only European player to ever win the US Women’s Disc Golf Championships, Kristin Tattar will not have an opportunity to chase her second US title this weekend in Madison, Wisconsin.

Heather Young at the 2021 Mid-America Open. Photo: DGPT Heather Young announced on Instagram today that she will be taking a break from competing on the professional disc golf tour.
“I am going to be taking at least several months off from the disc golf tour,” she wrote. “I’ve had some on-going struggles with what my plans are for the future with disc golf and life in general. While dealing with some of these issues I feel like I have lost my desire to play, which makes it very hard to compete at the highest level. I’m hopeful that by taking a step back for awhile I can regain that fire that drives me to be one of the best.” (more…)

Eagle McMahon at the 2021 Idlewild Open. Photo: DGPT In a YouTube video this week, Eagle McMahon announced that he would be getting an MRI on his injured shoulder, suspecting that he may have a torn labrum.
McMahon’s MRI this week was the first imaging he’s had done on the shoulder that he injured days before the 2021 Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship last October. He opened his season at the Las Vegas Challenge last month but avoided throwing high-power forehands due to the injury. He has skipped tour stops since LVC, citing the Texas courses’ higher forehand requirements. (more…)
