  2. Devan Owens Moves On From Latitude 64

    Another touring pro is on the move in this offseason, as Devan Owens announced he will not be renewing his Latitude 64 contract.

    “When I started with Latitude, I was fresh off of a leg injury. They believed in me, even in the beginning of my comeback,” Owens said. “With that being said; it’s time for me to take on a new challenge and start a new journey within my career.”

  3. Trevor Harbolt Re-Ups With Discraft

    PDGA Board of Directors member Trevor Harbolt will be throwing Discraft for another year.

    “Lots of wonderful things happening for Discraft this coming season and I’m excited to be a part of it,” Harbolt said. “I’ve been bumped up and added to the Tour Team which was a goal for me this past season. Accomplished goals are always some of the best emotions.”

  7. Chandler Fry Leaves Latitude 64

    Latitude 64 is losing another MPO player as Chandler Fry announced he would no longer be sponsored by the Swedish manufacturer.

    “It is not without sadness to announce that I will not be rejoining with Lat64 for the 2019…season,” Fry said. “The future is full of opportunity, however, and I look forward to attacking next year’s tour with a refreshed outlook and a newfound sense of motivation.”

  8. Dave Feldberg Steps Away From Latitude 64

    Dave Feldberg announced Sunday that he would no longer be a sponsored player under the Latitude 64 brand, and that he made the decision to focus on and grow the Next Generation Tour.

    “I decided it’s best I’m no longer exclusively sponsored by a disc manufacturer and am moving on from the Latitude64 team,” Feldberg said. “They continually supported our vision and gave us the opportunity to achieve our goals within this sport including stepping up as our title sponsor for the first three years of the Next Generation Disc Golf Tour.

    “We look forward to continuing on with a new relationship with Latitude 64 through the NG Tour and are very excited about this launching a new chapter in our life.”

  9. Sarah Hokom Leaves Legacy Discs

    Legacy Discs is losing its top-rated women’s player and most visible touring pro, as Sarah Hokom announced she’d be parting ways with the manufacturer for 2019.

    “As I look into the future, I have to contemplate the best move for me professionally,” Hokom said in the statement. “At this time, after much deliberation, I’ve decided to move on to a different disc manufacturer.  I sincerely appreciate everything that Legacy has done for me over the years and I certainly wouldn’t have experienced the amount of success that I have without their help.”

    Dynamic Discs announced Wednesday that Zach Melton has signed a 3-year extension with the company through 2021.

    “These people are my family, and I love being a part of what they have going on,” Melton said in the statement.

  15. Eagle McMahon Extends Discmania Contract

    Eagle McMahon with Discmania CEO Jussi Meresmaa

    Eagle McMahon will spend another two years under the Shield, as the Coloradan signed a contract extension with Discmania keeping him with the manufacturer through at least 2020.

    “They have shown me amazing and sustained support throughout my professional career,” McMahon said in the statement. “I believe we can reach new heights with our visions and strong relationship. I could not be happier to have the support from such a great company.”

  16. Discraft Adds Paul Ulibarri

    A video featuring Paul Ulibarri was released Saturday announcing Ulibarri would be joining Discraft for the 2019 season. Reddit user LaserBeamHorse was the first to surface the video.

    Ulibarri’s departure from his longtime sponsor Prodigy was just reported yesterday.

    Paul Ulibarri will no longer be a Prodigy sponsored player. Ulibarri, who joined the Prodigy team in 2013 with the first class of sponsored players, made the decision to leave the company following the 2018 season.

    “A lot of the decision was personal. Moving forward in my career, I felt like this was the best decision for me,” Ulibarri told Ultiworld Disc Golf. “Prodigy is a great company, and I only have love for them.”

  24. Top 10 Longest MPO Cashing Streaks – November 2018

    Airborn Disc Golf Emporium, Cale Leiviska’s dry goods supplier, recently posted a list of the longest active cashing streaks by Open players at PDGA events.1

    Leiviska himself leads the top 10 in consecutive events in which he’s taken home a check, and there are some surprise omissions as well.
