Eagle McMahon Had The Best Take On The Super Bowl

In which life imitates disc golf

There’s been a lot to like about the way Eagle McMahon has handled his last-minute loss to Ricky Wysocki at last month’s Aussie Open. First, McMahon owned his mistakes while praising the otherworldly play of Wysocki. Now, he’s approaching the whole situation with a sense of humor, drawing parallels between the tournament and last night’s Super Bowl between the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots, in which the Pats staged the largest comeback in the history of the game:

Birds of a feather, and whatnot. Luckily for McMahon, the short layoff between the Aussie Open and the Gentlemen’s Club Challenge gives him a lot less time to think about the heartbreak than the Falcons will have.
