After five years with Innova, Valerie Mandujano is switching sponsors.

The 950-rated Texan has signed a two-year deal with Dynamic Discs, the manufacturer announced today. Mandujano will receive a monthly salary, multiple tour series discs, wholesale credit, and a travel stipend, among other benefits, said Dynamic Discs Tour Manager Eric McCabe.

“I know we are both equally excited to start this new chapter!” Mandujano wrote on Facebook.

In her first full year of touring, Mandujano finished in the top 10 at Elite Series events 8 times, including a third place finish at the Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship, where she was in contention for the win until late in the final round.

She is the first announced signing in a flurry of DD sponsorships, who announced last week that they would be signing two players to “multi-year contracts that are two of the larger deals in disc golf history” early next week.
