Väinö Mäkelä, Prodigy Agree To 3-Year Contract

Vaino Makela 2018 Season

Prodigy Disc Europe announced Friday it had signed Väinö Mäkelä to a 3-year contract to keep the young Finn with the company through 2021.

Mäkelä won two stops on the Prodigy Disc Pro Tour in 2018, and also finished first in the 2018 Finnish National Pro Tour to take home an end of year cash bonus.

Despite starting this past season on mandatory army duty in Finland, Mäkelä considered 2018 his most successful season yet.
