The Champions Cup Purse Will Be Over $135K; See the Projected Payouts

The PDGA announced today that the payout for the Champions Cup, the first major of the season, will be $135,100. That total includes $95,000 of added cash.

It is the largest payout so far in 2022 and would have been the third largest payout in 2021, already a record year for payouts.

The MPO winner will earn $13,000 and the FPO winner $8,000. The PDGA said that no player who reached the cash line would take home less than $1,000.

Last year’s DGPT Championship offered $250,000 in prize money, the highest disc golf purse of all time with just a 48 person field. Earlier in the year, the World Championships handed out $173,105, but the tournament had twice the players that the Champions Cup has.
