Over the weekend, 2013 United States Disc Golf Champion Steve Brinster hit a major milestone, recording his 100th career PDGA victory at the New Jersey Jam.

“The ‘Joisey’ Jam will always hold a special place in my heart because it’s where I played some of the first events of my career,” Brinster said. “Starting back in the 1970s, ‘The Jam’ is one of the longest-running tournaments in the country. I captured my second career win as an advanced player back in 1996 at the Jersey Jam, and now my 100th win marks a great milestone for my career.”

Brinster has won four events in 2019, and averaged 1025-rated golf in his centennial win. In addition to his playing career, Brinster is also an accomplished disc golf course designer. He spoke with Mahmoud Bahrani on the Inside Line podcast about designing.
