Scott Withers Leaving Innova After 5 Years

Oregon’s Scott Withers has announced he will be leaving sponsor Innova after five years with the California manufacturer. He told Ultiworld Disc Golf that he intends to announce a new contract with another primary disc sponsor “in the next week or so.”

“I am so excited for what the future is going to bring. The last five years have been incredible but I plan on accomplishing so much more in the next five,” said Withers. “Just know, this is a move that will make me better in the present and the future and I am so pumped to get it started.”

Withers is one of 10 players in the world rated 1040 or above, and won 20 of 26 events he entered in 2020. Had it not been for the coronavirus, Withers said he would have made it to about 10 Elite Series events in this past season. He plans to attend the same amount in 2021, travel permitting.

“If I got on a plane I had to quarantine for two weeks. Oregon’s rules were pretty strict and the fact that I work with kids made it even harder,” said Withers.
