Who did it better, the namesake or the protégé?

When you can throw discs inhumanly far, there’s no reason to throw through trees when you can just go over them. And in both the 2015 and 2017 iterations of the Aussie Open, we’ve seen a couple players take the high road.
This year, Eagle McMahon “took the Simon line,” mimicking Simon Lizotte’s tee shot on hole 12 from the 2015 Aussie Open, throwing a massive anhyzer over the trees on the 836-foot par 4.
Both shots were tremendous, so here’s the question: Who did it better? We’ll let you decide.
