Having already left Discraft and signed a sponsorship agreement with Infinite Discs, Cole Redalen becomes the second high-profile addition to the EV-7 team this offseason. Redalen’s three year deal with the putter manufacturer through the 2024 season is similar to the one Matt Bell also signed this month.
“I believe in the game of disc golf that putting wins championships,” said Redalen. “Having a company like EV-7 investing in that part of my game, to bring it to the next level, is a huge advantage.”
This past season, the teenage Redalen played 10 Elite Series and Major events in his first year on tour. Redalen won five smaller events, finished in a tie for 7th with Chris Dickerson at the Ledgestone Insurance Open, competed at both MPO majors, and boosted his rating from 1001 to 1025.
