Matt Orum has signed a two-year deal with Westside Discs through the end of the 2023 season, according to a source familiar with the situation.
The news broke first when Prodigy Discs, Orum’s sponsor since 2018, posted a “thank you” to him on Instagram that, in an unusual move, leaked his new sponsor:
Orum is expected to start touring full-time in 2022 and will receive a contract that includes a monthly salary, bonus incentives, Tour Series disc sales royalties, and other industry standard terms. He joins Nikko Locastro as a top MPO player sponsored by Westside.
This marks a return to Trilogy for Orum, who was sponsored by Latitude 64 from 2015 to 2017. Latitude and Dynamic Discs co-own Westside Discs after acquiring the company in 2017.
Orum’s new deal was negotiated in part by Stephen Scansaroli and DGPM Group, who also represented Drew Gibson in his recent contract negotiations with Infinite Discs.
