Gregg Barsby has been dealing since arriving in Europe two weeks ago.
Coming off a win at the Sula Open, Barsby finished second over the weekend at Tyyni in Sipoo, Finland, and provided the event’s biggest highlight with a beautifully captured ace during Saturday’s final round.
The 312-foot, 95-meter, downhill hole 8 of the Sibbe course played perfectly to Barsby’s forehand, his disc navigating through the timbers on an arching left-to-right drive before finding chains. The Californian ultimately finished second to Rickey Wysocki, with the ace contributing to a 1058-rated final round.
Barsby will play the upcoming Skellefteå Open in Sweden before the first major of the year July 12-15 at the Czech Republic’s Konopiště Open.
