Save The Date: 2018 Pro Worlds Officially Set

Event takes place September 5-8 in Vermont

It’s time to start saving your pennies.

The 2018 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championship is officially set for September 5-8 at Smugglers’ Notch Resort in Jeffersonville, Vermont, organizers announced in a release yesterday. The venue was revealed earlier this year, but a date had yet to be set.

“This World Championship event will welcome hundreds of players, fans, and spectators into the Vermont community, which translates to a strong economic impact lasting well beyond the conclusion of the tournament,” PDGA Events Manager Mike Downes said.

Next year’s Worlds takes the place of the Green Mountain Championship. Like the 2017 iteration of that event, which takes place next weekend, Worlds will be part of Smugglers’ Notch’s annual FallFest, a celebration of the season that includes live bands, craft beer, and other outdoor activities. Per GMC and Pro Worlds Tournament Director Jeff Spring, travel packages for players and spectators will be announced in the coming months.
