Pierce’s National Disc Golf Day Ace Makes It On ESPN’s Sportscenter

Shot at PDGA Mixed Doubles World Championships hits prime time

Yesterday’s National Disc Golf Day ended on a high note, with Paige Pierce’s ace from Hole 10 at the PDGA Pro Worlds Mixed Doubles Championships in Emporia, Kansas, landing at number 10 on Sportscenter’s Top Plays.

Pierce’s day only got better from there, as she and Jeremy Koling went on to win their second consecutive Mixed Doubles title with a 102.

This is Pierce’s second Sportscenter appearance, after her ace at last year’s Ledgestone Open hit number one. The original video of yesterday’s shot, captured by The Disc Golf Guy, can be viewed here.
