After winning his first Elite Series event in 2021, Mason Ford signed a two-year endorsement deal with Dynamic Discs, the manufacturer announced today.
Ford took down the 2021 Music City Open and a $7,500 prize in the final year of the PDGA National Tour. It was his only top 10 finish at a tour stop, though he had strong performance at the World Championships, where he finished 11th. He will receive a monthly salary, multiple tour series discs, wholesale credit, and a travel stipend from Dynamic Discs, among other benefits, said DD Tour Manager Eric McCabe.
“We are thrilled to begin this 2-year expedition with Mason, and can’t wait to see him perform,” DD wrote on Instagram. He reached his highest career rating, 1033, last season.
Ford is the second announced signing in a flurry of DD sponsorships, who announced last week that they would be signing two players to “multi-year contracts that are two of the larger deals in disc golf history” early next week. His partner, Valerie Mandujano, also signed for two years with Dynamic Discs.
In 2022, the pair will travel in an RV with Mandujano’s sister Alexis that will be wrapped with both Dynamic Discs and Alexis’ sponsor Discraft branding on opposite sides.
