GIF: “Snappy” Cole Goes Big For 300-Foot Par Save

Bombs away!

James “Snappy” Cole came from the 26th seed in last week’s Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship to end up in third place overall, making for a fun Cinderella story at the event.

It wasn’t always easy, though. Part of his journey to the finals included a rough start on the 1,150-foot hole 7 at Fox Run Meadows during the semifinals that found him going out-of-bounds off the tee. Have no fear: He managed to save par with this amazing Glow Champion Firebird throw-in from more than 300 feet down the fairway:

Cole finished the semis at 7-under par, then bested Cale Leiviska in a playoff to head to the $10,000 final round. Not a bad way to get there.
