Vibram Open warm-up also features press conference, disc festival

The Disc Golf Pro Tour earlier today announced Downtown Disc Golf, a promotional event taking place in Worcester, Massachusetts, as a warm-up for the Vibram Open.
Taking place August 30, Downtown Disc Golf will allow fans to play arena disc golf inside the local DCU Center, a 12,000- seat venue that plays hosts to concerts and small-scale sporting events. A player press conference and disc festival are included in the affair, which aims to promote the sport — as well as the Vibram Open, which runs from August 31 to September 3 — to Worcester’s 183,016-person population.
