Minnesotan Alex Geisinger will be not be renewing his contract with Innova Champion Discs for the 2019 season.
“These last few years with Innova Champion Discs have been amazing, I have gone from the high of highs to the low of lows,” Geisinger said in his announcement. “However we will be parting ways heading into 2019. I’m hoping to get my shoulder ready for a full season next year and I’m extremely excited to share the big news with you all very soon!”
Partly due to his shoulder injury, Geisinger announced in July that he would not be playing any more competitive disc golf in 2018, and would possibly not return to the pro scene. Before stepping away, he had tour series discs from both Innova and Infinite Discs.
