2018 Pro Worlds To Be Held In Vermont

Smugglers' Notch Resort will play host; PDGA also announces other 2018 Majors

Vermont’s Smugglers’ Notch Resort will play host to the 2018 PDGA Pro World Championships, the governing body announced earlier today.

Known for hosting the Green Mountain Championship, as well as the 2016 Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship, Smugglers’ Notch sports two professional-level courses: the technical, more wooded Brewster Ridge; and the open, European-style Fox Run Meadows. Pro Worlds there will be directed by Jeff Spring, who also runs the GMC.

The PDGA also announced that a separate Juniors World Championship would begin in 2018 and take place for its first three years in Emporia, Kansas. Locations for its remaining 2018 Majors were also revealed:

  • United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship: Lansing, Michigan
  • Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Championship: Crown Point, Indiana
  • Amateur Disc Golf World Championship: Charlotte, North Carolina

A venue for the 2018 Pro Masters World Championship will be announced at a later date.
