2019 USDGC Round 3 Nikko Locastro Hole 13 albatross throw-in
The start of round three was not how Nikko Locastro had drawn it up, but he provided the biggest highlight of the day while turning his fortunes around.
Playing on the lead card, Locastro was 3-over par for the round and in a tie for 10th through 12 holes on Friday. A perfect drive on hole 13B had Locastro in position to attack the 888-foot pin position for eagle on the par 5 and he was going for it.
Locastro did one better than eagle, skipping his second shot off the parking lot, over the curbs, and into the chains for an albatross, bringing him back to even par on the round.
Better than the shot? Locastro’s celebration which included some tree parkour.
