Playing on a card with Eagle McMahon and Joe Rovere at the 2019 Kiss The Sky in Aspen, Colorado, Kyle Griffin took home the best highlight of the day.
Throwing down Aspen Mountain with a blind tee shot on hole 10, Griffin skipped short of the pin 381 feet away, had his disc hang in the air for what felt like several seconds, before hitting chains and falling in the basket.
“Most people throw approach style discs on this one. A driver is too much,” said Bill Wright of tournament sponsor Wright Life. “Not sure what Kyle threw but that was fun to see.”
Griffin would finish in third place, three strokes behind winner Rovere.
