Väinö Mäkelä got things started in the first round at the Prodigy Disc Pro Tour – Tampere by holing out no. 18.
With the basket 107 meters/351 feet dead ahead on a hill, Mäkelä played a backhand barely right and watched the disc do a late dump into the chains.
Mäkelä would have already finished the round in the lead, but the ace put him ahead of Niklas Anttila by three strokes.
