The Professional Disc Golf Association Board of Directors met via teleconference last night and selected Justin Menickelli as its new president, the organization announced this morning.
Menickelli, a North Carolina resident and associate professor at Western Carolina University, has served on the board since 2015. He takes over the post recently vacated by Rebecca Duffy, who had held the position since 2011. Menickelli is also the co-author of The Definitive Guide To Disc Golf, a 190-page book about the sport that was released in 2016.
