2021 PDGA and DGPT Rookie of the Year Gannon Buhr has agreed to a new two-year endorsement contract with Prodigy Disc.
“Prodigy has always been my favorite brand,” Buhr said in a video posted to his Instagram. “Will Schusterick has always been my favorite player. And that kind of naturally drew me towards wanting to be on Team Prodigy. Being with Team Prodigy for another two years is super exciting for me.”
The 16-year-old Buhr cashed in all 11 Elite Series events he attended in 2021, including a 4th place finish at The Preserve and 12th at USDGC.
“Gannon has proven himself as one of the best young talents on tour, and he’s back on the road this year looking to take another step,” wrote Prodigy on Instagram.
The two-time junior world champion continued his ascent in disc golf in 2021 with a dominating performance in the Rookie of the Year race.
