The European Open today announced that the 2020 event has been canceled. The PDGA Major, originally scheduled for mid-July, was previously postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“We are no longer looking for a later date for the event in 2020, and will push our 10th European Open event to July 2021,” said Jussi Meresmaa, founder of the European Open, in the statement. “Arranging this magnitude event during these uncertain times became an impossible task for our staff. As much as we wanted this event to happen, we needed to prioritize everyone’s health and safety.”
