Anthony Barela and Discraft have agreed to a endorsement contract renewal for three years through 2027. The news was announced in a YouTube video on Discraft’s channel.

After the best season of his career, Barela was one of the top players with an expiring sponsorship contract at the end of 2024; Discraft was widely expected to retain him. Barela won four Disc Golf Pro Tour events this season and finished 8th in the DGPT standings, a high watermark. Barela’s merchandise has been a hot seller — logo hats and Diamondbacks-styled AB jerseys have been common sights at DGPT events this year.

“Over the past few years, Anthony Barela has proven his resilience and dedication to the sport of disc golf, navigating obstacles while turning them into fuel for his success,” Discraft said in an Instagram post. “His hard work has culminated in multiple DGPT Elite Series victories, and his future looks brighter than ever!”

Discraft also announced that Barela would be getting his first signature mold, a more overstable version of the Cicada.
