Play Delayed at Music City Open Due to Threat; Resuming at 11 AM CT

Competition was suspended for about 90 minutes.

Update (10:43 AM): Play is set to resume at 11 AM Central Time. Tee times have been pushed back for both FPO and MPO cards for round 2.

NASHVILLE — The second round of competition at the Music City Open has been suspended due to “a threat made against the event.”

The official statement from the Disc Golf Pro Tour reads:

The Disc Golf Pro Tour has suspended play at the Music City Open due to an ongoing investigation by Nashville metro police regarding a threat made against the event. Tour and tournament staff are cooperating with local law enforcement authorities to assess the nature of the threat and determine the next steps. We will provide additional updates as we receive guidance from local authorities.

The DGPT hasn’t released any further information; stay tuned for updates.
