After pro players and European organizers lodged complaints against the initial rescheduling of the Champions Cup due to a conflict with the Swedish Open and the European swing of the Disc Golf Pro Tour, the PDGA has re-rescheduled the tournament.

It will now take place from April 25-28, the weekend between the Music City Open in Nashville, TN, and the Dynamic Discs Open in Emporia, KS. It is still set to be held over four rounds on Northwood Black in Illinois.

“We failed to properly assess the impact the Champions Cup rescheduling had on the newly announced DGPT Europe 2024 schedule of events. New practices are being put in place to ensure this does not happen again,” said PDGA Director of Operations Doug Bjerkaas in a statement.

The PDGA said that these dates were the original scheduling for the tournament at WR Jackson and that professional players were consulted on the new dates.
