At this point, we can’t say much else about Paul McBeth’s Throw Down The Mountain. His 14-under par 50 final round gave him a comfortable win, ending the event in first at 39-under par 153 total.
McBeth set a new course record every round — his final round alone would have tied Simon Lizotte for ninth — won by 14 strokes, and led six UDisc Live statistical categories, including Circle 1X and Circle 2 putting, C1 and C2 in regulation, and fairway hits.
Michael Johansen and Chris Dickerson shot matching 10-under par 54s to finish tied in second at 25-under par 167 total. McBeth was at 25-under after 36 holes.
It wasn’t the best final round from Madison Walker, but she had done enough work on Friday and Saturday that an 11-over par 75 Sunday didn’t derail her title defense. Walker won by eight strokes and finished at 15-over par 207 total.
Ellen Widboom jumped up a spot to tie Elaine King for second at 23-over par 215 total. Widboom recorded the only FPO birdie of the day on hole 18 — the most difficult hole to par — while King carded a triple bogey 7.
