Severe weather shortens the event

After multiple delays to play as lightning storms swept through Kansas, the PDGA announced that the final round of the Dynamic Discs Glass Blown Open has been canceled.
This marks the second event to be cut short in just a few weeks, after last month’s Nick Hyde Memorial was also hampered by severe weather.
Though further details have not been announced, at this point that makes Paul McBeth the winner in Open, with Hannah Leatherman and Paige Pierce tying for the Open Women’s victory. SmashboxxTV will be streaming the awards ceremony live at 1 p.m. CDT.
Stay tuned to Ultiworld Disc Golf throughout the weekend as we compile thoughts from both tournament organizers and players.
