One year after joining the Discraft women’s team, Vanessa Van Dyken has been promoted to the Elite Team for the 2020 season.
“One of my goals for next season is to master the mental aspect of my game,” Van Dyken said in a statement. “Controlling thoughts, feelings, emotions and making smarter decisions while under competition stresses. I feel that once I can overcome myself I can achieve many great things.”
Van Dyken will have a Tour Series Meteor as part of her deal. Discraft said in the announcement that it would be adding one more member to its Elite Team by the end of the week.
Despite a midseason injury, Van Dyken reached a career high 939 rating in August 2019.
