McMahon Gets His Own 2-Year Deal With Discmania

Company announces he and Lizotte will tour together in 2017

Discmania has signed Eagle McMahon to a two-year contract, the company announced this afternoon. This comes on the heels of Simon Lizotte’s announcement Wednesday that he also signed for two years with the Finnish manufacturer.

The 18-year-old McMahon is currently the PDGA’s sixth-ranked men’s player, and in the statement he attributed much of his ascension to the company, which originally brought him on when he was a junior in high school.

“The main thing that I am very grateful for is that they saw the potential in me from the beginning and were willing to support me,” McMahon said. “I do not believe that any other companies would have gone so far for me considering I was almost a no-name player at the time.”

The company also said the two players plan to tour together this spring after Lizotte returns from knee surgery.
