Linus Carlsson Hits Two Aces At The Open

Jeremy Koling was on both cards

Linus Carlsson had a very good weekend at The Open in Ale, Sweden.

The Swedish 19-year-old not only finished in third, above K.J. Nybo and Simon Lizotte, after shooting well above his 999-rating for the tournament, he also added two aces during the five-round tournament. They were on back-to-back days in rounds two and three.

First he drilled hole 18 during round two, which got filmed by cell phone. SM Disc Golf Productions caught his round three ace on hole 10 during its coverage of the event.

And to add a layer of serendipity, noted ace whisperer Jeremy Koling was playing with Carlsson during both rounds. In reference to the linked article in the previous sentence, Ultiworld Disc Golf’s investigative journalism desk is officially reopened, hunting for tips on Koling’s supernatural dealings. Comment or email in with any leads; we’ll get to the bottom of this one day.
