After shooting a 2-under par 71 during the opening round of the Santa Cruz Masters Cup, Josh Anthon has withdrawn from the event.
Reasons for the DNF were not immediately available.
Anthon was a trendy pick to finish on the podium. He is the last player not named McBeth or Wysocki to win the event, having claimed victory in 2011 and 2007.
