2019 PDGA Pro Worlds Set For Illinois

Locations for USWDGC, Pro Masters Worlds also revealed

Peoria, Illinois, will host the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championship in 2019, the organization announced this afternoon. The event will be put on by Ledgestone Insurance Open Tournament Director Nate Heinold, who confirmed to Ultiworld Disc Golf that he will run both tournaments within weeks of each other that year. Peoria was one of two host cities that bid for the event.

The PDGA also revealed the rest of its 2019 Major slate. Here’s the rundown:

  • U.S. Women’s Championship: Spotsylvania, Virginia
  • Tim Selinske U.S. Masters: Worcester, Massachusetts
  • Am Worlds: York County, Pennsylvania
  • Pro Masters Worlds: Smugglers’ Notch, Vermont
  • Junior Worlds: Emporia, Kansas

Per the release, the United States Disc Golf Championship (Rock Hill, South Carolina), United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship (Milford, Michigan), and National Collegiate Disc Golf Championship (North Augusta, South Carolina) will all remain in their usual locations.
