Dynamic Discs has signed Henrik Johansen to its Team Europe for the 2017 season, the Emporia, Kansas-based manufacturer announced today.

The 1011-rated Johansen hails from Onsala, Sweden, and boasts seven career PDGA victories, including the 2016 Swedish Championships title. While he only made one stateside trek in 2016 – he placed 21st at the United States Disc Golf Championship in October – he did tour the U.S. extensively in 2015, racking up four top-20 finishes in the six PDGA National Tour events he played.

Other career highlights for the left-hand backhand-dominant pro also took place during his busy 2015 season, including a victory at the A-Tier Toronto Island Open and sixth place at the USDGC, where he bagged an on-camera ace during the tournament’s first round and held the lead heading into the final.

Johansen was previously sponsored by Finnish manufacturer Prodiscus.
