WATCH: Oakley Smashes Uphill Ace

Central Coast Disc Golf catches another gem

Eric Oakley made a splash on the pro scene earlier this season by blazing out of the gates to take an early lead at the Glass Blown Open. Yesterday, he took his play a bit more viral.

Oakley laced a Dynamic Discs Fuzion EMac Truth for an ace on the 315-foot 17th hole at the Twin Falls Classic, an A-Tier currently taking place in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Oh, and it was straight uphill.

The shot – captured beautifully by Ben Baker and William Jenkins of Central Coast Disc Golf with both tee and catch cameras – got some early Sportscenter buzz but apparently didn’t make the cut. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t deserve plenty of love, though, so watch it here:

This marks the second ace for Oakley in as many weeks, as he also landed one during Pro Worlds with a Dynamic Discs Enforcer. He’s currently a free agent on the manufacturer sponsor front.
